Jennie Garth Sells Home For Nearly $4 Million, It’s been two months since she finalized her divorce with Peter Facinelli, so it only makes sense that Jennie Garth would want to sell a home filled with less-than-pleasant memories. And that’s exactly what the Dancing With The Stars alum has done, although she unfortunately wound up with a lot less than the initial asking price.
They may be remaining civil for the sake of their children, but Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli are definitely ready to move on in the aftermath of their divorce. This means getting rid of the home they’ve shared since 2003. At the time, the two purchased the spacious mansion for a cool $1.35 million. Previously the home of country star Tex Ritter, the home had originally been built by famed architect Paul Williams in 1937, although it had since been the site of many extensive updates. Currently, it features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a playground, a pool and a five-car garage. The total amount living space? An impressive 8,500 square feet.
Initially, Jennie and Peter were hoping that the sale of their home would net them around $6 million. But they wound up selling the mansion for over $2 million less than the listed asking price. The final price wound up netting the former couple $3.99 million, which, while certainly lower than the asking price, is still a whole lot more than the original $1.35 paid by Jennie and Peter.
The new proud owner of Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli’s former Toluca Lake estate? None other than Big Bang Theory executive producer Bill Prady. The location should certainly be convenient, allowing the new owner easy access to Burbank’s television studios.
