Meet The Lip Stains That Actually Won’t Budge — Even If You Try -
Liquid lipstick can be a fussy beast. The formulas are meant to go on wet, dry in an instant, and stay put for hours — but that's usually just a pipe dream. More often than not, you have to sacrifice hydration for it to last longer than a few hours. Then, when it does start to fade, it does so in the most haphazard manner. flower-infused lipstick, but this might be its most impressive launch yet. Housed inside a tube with a doe-foot applicator, the liquid formula delivers powerful punch of color that promises you one thing: It will not budge. The lipstick itself feels lightweight on lips, but once it's on — it's on. Even better, each one is named after a dessert — Angel Food, Cookie, Lolli, Shortcake, and Whoopie Pie — and is scented with a subtle whiff of vanilla.

The ultimate swatch test is only as a strong as how much they stay on after you try and rub it off. And these did. Not. Move. Even after more than a few hours on my hand and rinses through water, the colors were still there. (Granted, some pigment faded, but there was no sign of flaking.) So, I fell asleep with the remnants of color on my hand, and while a bit of the red shade transferred to my pillowcase, for the most part it remained in place.

By that next morning, I was sick of carrying around the long-wear formulas on my hand so, naturally, went to wash all five off — which would have been lovely, if any would actually come off. Two rounds of soap and cleansing oil later, and there are some distinct stains left behind. A good stain means an even better formula — and if these lipstick footprints prove anything, it's that these new lippies are some of the best.
