A friend of the couple tells the magazine, “They’ve been seeing each other several times a week lately. Slowly the old feelings have started to return… They’re now dating again.” According to the insider, they reconciled after a tearful hour-long phone call, during which Pitt gave a “heartfelt apology” to Jolie for how his drinking affected their family. Now, notes the outlet, Pitt’s “ready to take the reunion public.”
Naturally, the tabloid doesn’t say when or how that will happen. Instead, it quotes a so-called “pal,” who claims the pair is “keeping the reinvigorated relationship under the radar for now” so as not to “confuse” their children. Of course, if Pitt and Jolie were spending as much time together as the outlet claims, surely the kids would realize something’s up with mommy and daddy.
Gossip Cop can confirm Pitt and Jolie are getting along better now, compared to right after their breakup. However, they’re not “back together.” A Pitt source exclusively tells Gossip Cop that while things are “reasonably well,” he’s not “dating” his estranged wife. A Jolie insider echoes that there’s no marital reunion at this point in time.
