FBI investigating attempted hack of Trump Organization: report, The FBI is probing an attempted cyberattack against the Trump Organization, according to a report from ABC News.
Sources told ABC that the FBI summoned an emergency meeting with President Trump's sons Donald Jr. and Eric, who took charge of the organization after Trump took office.
The two brothers met with the FBI's cybersecurity agents and CIA representatives at the FBI headquarters in New York on May 8, according to the report. The meeting came the day before President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
Eric Trump did not confirm to ABC News that he had met with the FBI but said the Trump organization was not hacked.
"We absolutely weren't hacked," he told ABC News. "That's crazy. We weren't hacked, I can tell you that."
The report comes as the Trump administration grapples with a series of explosive reports regarding the FBI investigation into potential ties between the Trump campaign and Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election.
