This College Football Recruit Literally Faked His Life
This College Football Recruit Literally Faked His Life, We all know how intense the college football recruiting process is. However, we have reached new levels of insanity yesterday.
Globe Institute of Technology wide receiver Unique Brissett recently announced that he narrowed down his college options to five Power 5 schools. Brissett announced yesterday that he was visiting Michigan State.
Now here comes the M. Night Shyamalan style twist.
Brissett tweeted out pictures inside the Spartans football facility. The problem was, as pointed out by Luke Srodulski of Land of 10, Brissett's pics were identical to the ones taken by offensive tackle Cody Carone in February.
After this was pointed out last night by Srodulski, Brissett deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Weird, huh? Oh, don't worry, it gets weirder from here.
Andrew Ivins, who covers Miami Hurricanes football for 247 sports, pointed out that Miami and University of Kentucky never had any contact with Brissett. Not only that, but the highlight tape that Brissett posted online isn't even of him. It is of a different prospect who committed to a Power 5 school.
Absolute insanity.
It is not uncommon for a college prospect to fabricate their story. However, to go to these lengths is just crazy.
The crazy thing is, we don't know if Brissett is even a high school student. It could be a random adult trying to mess around with colleges to see how far he could get.
We may never know the answer.
