Houston Rockets guard James Harden was poked in the eye by Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green during the first quarter of Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Tuesday night, and briefly exited the game.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said Harden suffered a laceration on his left eyelid, and was bleeding from the eye.

When Harden did eventually return to the court, both of his eyes were extremely bloodshot, much to the horror of several Twitter users.
“Please for the love of God stop zooming in on Harden’s eyes,” one user tweeted.
Other Twitter users turned a close-up image of Harden’s eyes into a meme, many of which made fun of his comments critical of officials after Sunday’s Game 1 loss.
Meanwhile, other users compared him to popular movie and TV show characters who lost eyeballs, including Marvel characters Thor and Nick Fury, as well as Game Thrones character Beric Dondarrion.
