Kim Zolciak's NFL star husband Kroy Biermann is out for the season after tearing his Achilles tendon, Pregnant Kim Zolciak will have another set of hands at home when her twins are born now that husband Kroy Biermann has been injured and will miss the rest of the NFL season.

The American football player, who is a defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons, tore his achilles tendon on Sunday and will have to spend the rest of the sporting year recovering.

'My husband is incredibly strong & nothing will slow him down! Never has! Appreciate all the well wishes! He will be back stronger than ever!' tweeted the 35-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who is currently pregnant with twins.

The season-ending injury occurred during the first half of Sunday's game against the St Louis Rams, and even though Kroy, 28, is now on the 'injured reserve list,' he is still guaranteed a base salary of $2.4 million even if he plays no more games this season, reported AccessAtlanta.com.

The incident happened with the mother-of-four Don't Be Tardy star was at the game cheering him on.
'Taking the kiddos to see daddy @biermann71 play! KJ is beyond excited! Woke up talking abt it!!' tweeted Zolciak that morning.

'Rise up Atlanta it's game day!!!!!!!!!! Yahoooooo!!!'

Biermann, who celebrated his 28th birthday on September 12, is in his sixth season with the Atlanta Falcons and has earned 9.2 million to date with the team.

Although his salary is safe for this year, the Falcons could cut him next year under the terms of his 2012 contract.
Kim and Kroy already have two sons, Kroy Jagger, Jr., two, and Kash, one, while Zolciak has daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from previous relationships.

The reality star revealed to E! News in August that she was expecting twins.

'I was completely shocked,' she insists.

'I had no idea. It was a natural conception, but twins do run in the family, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. I can't believe I am going to be a mom to six children. It's going to be very busy but it's a dream come true.'
